Default S.M's 006 hot topic home

I would like some help on the sportmax 006 rims. What size rubs, what size needs/requires rolling of the fender, and are the widest I can go in the front and back with no problem.

I was looking at the site and the 18x7.5 have a 2.5 inch lip, while the 18x8's has only a 2 inch lip. Wierd/typo??????

I what the widest rim without any modification what so ever. NO rolling of the fender and no rubbing at 1.7 drop in front and 1.5 inch in the back. I'm on tein s-techs that have settled in a lot. its more like a 2 inch drop in the front.

My concern is that I don't want rubbing with me and a passenger in the front.

Probably, but I'm going to look throught 8 pages on one topic just to get the answer, so, here is my biggest question???

On sportmax's web site, it states that the 18x7.5 have a bigger lip than the 18x8, I think its 2.25 or 2.5 versus the 2 lip of the 18x8. Give or take. IS IT true?

I guess I'll spend a good hour just to look to see if I get my answer.

This may be true if the 7.5 rim has a lower offset. This may allow for more lip.

I have had 962's and the 006's
the8.5- 962's had 215/35/18 and the pass side rubs with people in the back with no fender roll and OTGspacer
the 9.5 006's have 225/35/18 and the pass rubs slightly even with OTG camber/spacer and rolled fenders and no people in the back.
both of these are rear set I have had no issues with rubbing in the front, I am running tanabe df210's.
If you are wanting to avoid all rubbing I think you would be safe with the 7.5 006's all around and the 215/35/18's
Hope this helps

Thanks for the advice. With 35's, I would have to drive carefully or risk having a dented rim, right? I have tein s-techs, so I guess a 40 could fit or would it rub?
