Default Taller Tire?

Love my xB, and it's getting time for new tires.
The front and rear of the car rub/scrub slightly pulling
in and out of parking lots.

An increase of height of an inch would prevent this, in most cases.

Keeping the stock rims, what is the tallest tire that I can
put on? My tire store only shows the stock tire for replacement
in their catalog.

Any and all info appreciated.

Thanks
Jim

i needed replacements after the first 3 months because my stock tires had no traction. i ended up going to sears and getting some sumitomos when they had a "buy three get one free" deal going on. they didn't even have our stock tire size available...in any tire. so anyways, long story short....

i ended up getting the next size up: 185/65r15
which apparently is the same size as the toyota bB in japan.

Default tire size

The tires are stock 185/60R15

I understand that the 65r15 are slightly larger,

slightly being about 1/4 inch.

I would like at least an inch.

Thanks
Jim

You should be able to go 1" total tire diameter larger before you start hitting things...much more tho and contact may be likely. That will only gain you 1/2 inch more travel tho (actually a little less due to squish).
