Default will 18X8 +42 offset fit scion?

hey guys im wondering if a 18X8 wheel with a +42 offset will fit the scion w/o rubbing..i know ive seen posts bout 18X7.5 +42 fit, but i dont know how much it clears by and how much room i have left with a 18X8. I'm also going to be running a 215/40R18 or 225/40R18....what do you guys think? thanks in advance

The rear is going to rub. You will need at least a 3mm spacer in the rear for clearance from the suspension. A buddy of mine already did it and that's what he had to do. Also, you should probably run the 215/35R18 tires too.
