Default Tein S spring question

Okay, I have a stupid question about the Tein S springs.

On the springs there is a brown sleeve. On the fronts the sleeve is on both ends. But on the rears, the sleeve is only on one end, the other side doesn't have it. What is the sleeve for, and does it go to the top or the bottom when installed on the car? It looks like the rears could go in either way, and I just want to make sure I get them installed correctly.

Thanks

For the rears, the brown sleeve when installed rests on the bottom. The brown sleeve is to prevent noise, such as squeaks, etc...
