Sonar Headlight W/ HID's - anyone using them?
Anyone using the Sonar projector headlights with Hid's? I know the housings say not to, but I am wondering if any of you have been, and if so do you have any complaints / compliments? What if any upgrades to the housings have you done if any? I don't want to fry anything, or melt the housings, but don't the Hid bulbs burn cooler then halogens? If the Hid's come with their own Ballasts, that plug into the stock wiring harness, what would fry? I know lots of people are using Hid kits in their stock housings already so i assume that the stock wiring harness is ok, and the Hid kit should come with a heavier guage wireing from the ballast to the bulb right?
Can someone school me please on the pros and cons of this setup in these housings?

my friend janis has had em in her car for about 6 months now... not a problem... they fit right in, plug right in, and work like a charm... mine will go in at the end of next week once my headlights get here.....

There are a few guys on here with kits in those running them with no issues, when these lights came out beam pictures were posted and they looked great! For the wiring run a relay harness which will plug into the sonar's wiring to activate the relay and send current directly from the battery to the ballast no worries on wiring that way..

I have the Kaixen 6000k 9600 kit in the sonar dual halos right now. Install is extremely easy took me all of 15mins and the light output is awesome. I will try and get some pics up this week after I get the fog out of them
I thought I got lucky with my pair but after about 5 months they have started to fog up since last night.
i just ordered a HID kit and for got about the sticker but im gunna try it anyway the kit should be in friday. i was afraid i was gunna have to change my order and roll stock but screw it if i catch on fire i catch on fire but maybe i should down grade from the 10000k bulb to an 8000 or maybe even 6.
