Default Tein H tech vs. S Tech for xB's...

Okay, so I know what the estimated drops are for both springs....but I want to hear it from the owners....I'm leaning towards the H tech because of possible rear camber issues and ride quality I've been hearing about the S tech springs...So does anyone know how much of a drop the H tech springs will give me after they settle...I really don't want more than about 1.5" total all the way around....

Thanks....

we don;t have rear or front camber issues
whether it's a 1 inch drop or a 4 inch drop.......

h techs seem like they'd ride better but in all actuality the s tech are much better riding springs.

Go S-Techs, I have them, had them for like 2 years, they're great.

BTW, we have Toe issues, not Camber.

Will the toe issues cause uneven tire wear?

I have the s tech. I feel the ride quality is about the same as stock. You should probably go with the S tech because in the long run, you will be happier with the drop. After you have them in for a while, you probably will want to even go lower.
I have no tire rubbing issues with the S tech either. It is a good all around spring to go with.

I see that your box is on coilovers with about a 3.5" drop.....no issues with uneven tire wear?.....

yes, but with proper rotations they will wear normally.

I had H-Techs and S-Techs on my Box. The H-Tech's ride quality was better than the S-Techs. But the S-Techs looked better. With some Monroes in the rear, the S-Techs were comfortable enough for daily driving.

In fact, I went with the same setup on my xA......S-Techs and Monroes.

So I'd say go with the S-Techs. Besides, if you go with the H-Techs you'll likely want to go lower at some point in the future.

Hey, how are the H-techs in snow? I live in NYC and don't want to have issues when it snows. How's the ride on crappy roads?
Thanks,
David

I would be worried about tires and not springs in the snow...

I'd probably run snow tires. I'm just wondering about ground clearance on unplowed/poorly plowed roads. My parents in MA aren't big on plowing their driveway...
Thanks,
David

Well i started with H's and it wasn't long before they came out and replaced with S-Techs. They H's felt "sloppy" to me. Mainly because the spring rate on the fronts are very lite. I am very happy with the S's!
