Anyone know where a guy can find some black wheel covers for his 15" factory wheels?

I custom painted mine and can do yours too. I charge $20.00 per wheel cover and you pay shipping. The paint I use is an enamal paint made to be used on vehicles for pinstriping. I did mine about 3 months ago and they still look just like the day I did em. I take my car to Turtle Wax car wash at least twice a week and where I live, they use a ton of salt and sand to help clear the street when it snows. He's a few pics. Let me know if I can help with your wheel cover design or if you need anything else hand painted.

You can paint them black with spray for plastic... It'll cost you about 15 bucks and take about an hour depending upon how many coats you put on. The Scion emblem pops out from the back. Just clean and spray. I think they make the stock wheels look a whole lot better.

Be careful. You get what you pay for. Just spray painting them might last a few weeks depending on where you live and what kind of weather they see. I think they look better stock than with paint chipping off. If you're going to do it yourself, make sure you degease them very well, Sand them, degrease again, paint them with a good paint and clear coat them. Take your time and make sure that each step is done right and you will get a quality product that should last. Good luck.

Striper, So far, they've been through heavy rain, a car wash, and freezing rain... so far so good, they still look exactly as they did when I painted them. There's no doubt that they'll eventually need touching up, but if you ask me, that's another reason to do it yourself. Yours look gorgeous, but I don't have access to the nice stuff, I gotta go low rent on mine... if you know what you're doing, spray paint can be your friend.

Burstaneurysm,

Thanx for the props. Please don't get me wrong. I didn't mean to make it sound like painting with a spray bomb is bad. In fact, my side markers are spray painted. I did clear them though. Just for a little more protection. If you push them forward, they will come right out, them remove the cover from the bulb and prep the cover. Paint, clear and replace. If you have an auotomtive paint store anywhere close to your house, they ususally will put the factory color in a spray can for you so it will match perfectly. The main thing in my opinion is to make sure you clear it when you're done.

Good luck and have fun!!!
