Default What are people paying for the Injen CAIs?

Perhaps I haven't looked hard enough.......but I haven't found much in the way of prices on this intake. Any info would be great. Thanks.

I'm seein $149.95 plus $21 on ebay......and I can luck out of the tax because I'm not in Cali.

But Overboost seems to be the better deal because shipping is less.

Thanks for the info guys.

You know you love my powdered toast...BUT, Injen has two different models available....there is a regular short ram that points backwards...you can find a pic of it in the scion life store.

There is also a cold air type intake that points to the right of the engine, and sucks cool air from behind the left foglight.

I am not sure which one is being sold at adventon, but I assume it is the regular short ram.

Also, I dont think I want to put another oiled filter on my car...they funk up the MAF...

I wouldnt mind an oiled filter on the intake end of a supercharger, because there is a lot of plumbing and stuff to catch that goo before it hits the MAF.

That being said, be wary of the short ram intakes, unless you intend to open up the faux grill in front of the engine to cool off the engine bay...As it is right now, the stock air filter sucks cold air from behind the left foglight....if you install a short ram, you will be sucking hot air directly from the engine bay.

Hell yeah!! and i got my springs delievered for free some spy from Scionara!! and i didn't even pay tax OR shipping BWAHAHAHAH

yeah 160 plus tax is the going rate. Anywhere that less is going to charge you up the ___ for shipping to make the difference. Anythings better than that one store "______ ______" for 210 MSRP + shipping.. OUCH

As far as i know the only 2 intakes injen is making for the xB is the polished one and the $10 more expensive black one. Both cold air from the fog light area.

yah arin you'll see whenever i make it on that side of town, it sucks air from the exact same place as the aem, behind the foglight and below the drivers side headlamp. it just doesn't trek all over the place like the aem. i guess thats why they say its a short ram that works like a full cai. just check the injen link that shows the intake installed without the bumper on you'll see.

http://www.injen.com/newproducts/is2100_image_text.jpg

but i know what your thinking because the blitz short ram just sits in the same place as the stock airbox but with no snorkel and definitely sucks just hot engine air.

but with the injen now theres just a big space where all the airbox was. so I definitely wouldn't compare the two kits.

Ok, i guess i was wrong. I was under the impression that injen had made two kits.

My bad...I think I WAS thinking of the Blitz intake.

LVXB........i have a beigish cream colored 240 Volvo.......with a big "supercharged" sticker slapped across the front windshield. And no....its not actually supercharged......I just like misinformation.

I haven't the slightest clue when I'm supposed to be getting my xB.

I just paid 165.00 OTD for my intake. I purchased it off ebay seller "Power Garage" and picked it up at their location. They are located in the City of Industry, if anyone is interested here's a link to his auction.....

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2441148338

They were cool about picking it up, but just arrange it with them before bidding on it just in case. And 165 was the cash price.
