DOES ANYBODY ELSE HAVE A SUNROOF

 

DynamiteSJ , and I think toybox1 has one. Both are very clean, I am still up in the air about getting one.

hey thats pretty clean man, but was it a long process or did you do one at time? And what company is that anyway? I am still up the air about a sunroof, but they do look good. I sat in DynamiteSJ 's ride and I must say it looked great. The thing is I don't want to lose my headroom.

I got to know, how difficult was it to place a sharp, moving saw blade into the top of your ride? I am very interested in installing a sunroof in my xB. Where did ya get it? I too would be interested in seeing interior photos. I heard there are supports in the roof, where are they located? Did you consider a ragtop like they sell at www.Streetbeatcustoms.com

had one installed in my WRX and paid about $1000 for it. took less than a day for the full install.

 

SPFRBOX has a ragtop on his black cherry xB.

 

Got couple of questions regarding aftermarket moon/sun roof.

1. Does it void factory warranty?
2. Any possible leakage when raining or wash?
3. Is there any crosswind noise?
4. Are the glass tempered /thick enough to prevent any slight cracks?
5. Is it worth the $1500?

 

THE PRICE OF $1500.00 WAS FOR THE TWO SUNROOFS, AND IT TOOK US TWO DAYS TO DO. I WILL POST THE PICS OF THE TWO CARS SOON. I USED WEBASTO UNITS IN BOTH CARS. MY BLACKCHERRY HAS A POWER RAGTOP IN THE REAR.. AS FAR A LEAKAGE HAVE NO PROBLEMS.
