Default powdercoating shocks and struts


has anyone done this?

my concern is that they go into a 450 degree oven, and i'm thinking the oil might break down at that heat. whaddya think?

I think i've found my answer, but i'm going to leave this here for more input.

Nope certainly can't heat strus and shocks to those kind of temps.

Yeah watch out....Powder coating was the original issue with the Airlift struts that locked up..... They cooked them too hot and trashed the seals. I am sure it can be done, maybe a low temp powder?
