They are just a sleeve type c/o. They go over your existing strut in the front and replace the spring in the back with an adjustable perch, they wont give you any performance gains and will most likely ride pretty bad.

I think there are a few people on here that have had experiance with something similar to this.

Maybe we all should kick in a couple of dollars then draw straws to see who the unlucky victim gets to put them on there car. Then write a review. :D

so.... has anybody tried them yet?
i highly doubt that the springs are any good, but there are quality coilover springs available elsewhere. as long as the perches are good, then you could get replacements. at $110 shipped, it is almost tempting to just buy them to find out about the perches.

ha! do they look really crappy? i know that the price suggests that they are pretty poor.

monki3, where are you located? i am curious to see them. maybe you would take a picture for us? i am really only interested in the front perches (top and bottom) and the dimensions of the spring. i would even consider taking them off your hands if the perches look strong enough.

Most people in the Honda scene run these type of coilovers. Hell, many use eBay coilovers that are purchased for $50shipped at times.

There are some people that say they ride decent (relative to their price). If you upgrade your shocks I'm sure you'll be okay.

From the pics 'monki3' posted, the rear spring is labeled w/ a 450P sticker. Im guessing it has a 450lbs/in spring rate. Stock is around 160-170lbs/in (rear).

stock is also progressive. i do not trust linear springs in the rear without adjustable length dampers.

i spoke with ground control about my concern. they said something like: "your car will not be coming off the ground, right?"
guess what? i lift my car off the ground to work on it.
wraith reported on here that his ground control springs popped out in the rear.
