i wanted a more aggressive camber, -4.5, in the back then the otg camber shims offer, -3, so i talked to a friend of mine who mills out pretty much anything out of aluminum from chess pieces to oil caps. i have the measurements of the control arm bolts and soon this week making measurements of the dogbones. my question is the thickness and angle cut of the dogbones, do they need to be the same as the camber plate or does it just need to be cut at the same angle? also these plates will have toe correction cut into them, and does the toe correction need to be cut into the dogbones as well?

Honestly, if you want 4 degrees you should waste your time. If youre lowered a little over 2 inches or more, you will measure in at 4 degrees with them. I had 4.4 on one side and 4.3 on the other with OTG.

ohh yeah i kno whenever you add or adjust anything to do with wheels, tires, springs, shocks, spacers, etc., youre gonna have a change in angles. im just trying to figure out since the dogbones go behind the control arm and are designed to angle the bolts to lineup the hub, the dogbones would need the same camber and toe cut as the plate would have correct?
i know i could just go ahead and buy otg shims but this is a project i want to give a try at so suggesting me to buy otg shims is out the window.

ohh yeah it can be done, but we would have to go back to an alignment shop and recalibrate how much toe correction would be needed. once we punch out the first set, we could make less aggressive camber plates

its not just make one end thicker tho to fix the toe correction, the first angle that will be cut into the plate will be the camber. once the camber is cut, ill have to go to an alignment shop to figure out the toe ammount i have to cut into the plate to adjust the toe correction back to factory specs. then i have to compensate those two angles into the dogbones
