My air system is kinda stealth. The 3 gallon tank is under the rear crosswise just forward of the jack point (there is about 24" across here and the tank is 20" long x7" diameter, with a stock rear lip it would be slightly visible below the lip when viewed from the rear. My F-1 kit lip is taller so you do not see the tank at all) I believe there is space for a second 3 gal tank like this under the rear if you relocate the fuel evap box slightly (rotate it forward and make new mounting).

I had removed the spare previously for a speaker and amp enclosure...the big plastic thing that fills in the tire well that is molded in the steel floor was still there. Low and behold my Air-Ride valve set was short enough to mount in there. I just removed the plastic plug and mounted it in the recess. All my air line and electrical connections are in this recess as well as my check valve. We found that the sub sounded a bit hollow after this, so we lifted the sub box and stuffed ployfill all around the air stuff in the tire recess and it stopped the hollow sound. The sub box still fits over it nicely. I Built a custom compressor mount for my Viar 460 from 1/8 inch steel sheet. It mounts between the rear bumper reinforcement bar and the rear body panel...it is bolted through the rear body panel toward the left side of the car from the jack post. Basically I a half a box from steel. Imagine a box big enough to just fit the compressor in, then cut it in 1/2 diagonally on both ends, leaving the bottom whole and the front whole and the sides as triangles. The front wall is taller than the triangular sides so it can overlap the front of the rear body panel so that it could be bolted in place. (this is a place where a picture would be worth 1000 words, but even with a lift good photos would be hard with it installed) I will post 1 picture:0 It is all under here Either above or below the floor.

I put my 5 gallon tanks and compressor in the back. There really wasn't much room to mount the tank and compressor under the car. The valves are mounted underneath the car. 4 in the front and 4 in the back.
