Default VSC, TRACK OFF, CEL, light came on.

who elses has this happend too.

I will be taking my car in on monday, and would like to know what will be done, im under the 30,000 miles. how long will it take to fix, or will i get a new car. I really dont like the idea of driving a car that had a problem with its stability control, is asking for a replacement car to much to ask?

any way i would just like to know, from ppl that this has happend to, what the dealership did, and so on and so on.

thanks much

1) Do a VSC search--lots of reasons for the problem
2) It will take from one hour to several days to fix depending on the problem
3) If your car has to be kept over night Scion says you get a car to ride.

I just had the VSC light problem for about the fourth time. Once I had my alternator replaced. Once I had a loose gas cap. AND just a week ago I had the VVTI control replaced. Good luck...........

I have also had this problem as of late, mine came up as a Timing Retarded. There has been a TSB put out for this very issue. Check this post.

When mine went out it was the Mass AirFlow Sensor. The dealer checked it out and said it was the gas cap but it still went off after they put a new cap on.
