215/35/18 tire question
I'm looking to get the best tire I can for under $500. I need a 215/35/18. I saw the Lexani N3000 for a decent price online. Does anyone have any feedback on these? I want something that is going to wear well, with decent traction, and will do ok in the snow.

first off the 18's would not be wise to run in the snow. That is what the steelies are for. Most 18's in that size are summer only tires anyhow.
Didn't know Lexani started making tires??? For snow ratings on specific tires check out tire rack. They have ratings for most tires. Happy hunting.

As far as running the 18's in the snow, they definitely performed a lot better than the stocks with steelies. I didn't want to run them during the winter, but was forced to one day when I got a flat on my steelies, couldn't get a jack under my car to put the spare on, and the tire shop that I limped it to didn't have the tire I needed. I ended up getting a buddy to pick me up and running home to get my 18's. They've performed tons better in the snow than the stocks. I actually just went up to Brighton Ski Resort today in the box and had no problems in the ice covered parking lot.
