Default Which Compressor

i know that the Az is fast but many people told me that it is weak and doesnt last long.... Viair has been around longer and also has a compressor just as fast... (550c) so if anyone has any input or opinions please post up.

I personally Like DC's

I have a pair that I worked the heads on they fill really fast.

(2) 4 gallon tanks 2 Dc's from 100-180 psi in approx a 1 minute

I'd run 2 380s or 480s before I'd run either of your choices. Mainly to have the redundancy of 2 compressors over one. They are both rated to 200psi...Where the 550 is only rated to 150. Plus 2 480s are just a little faster then the 550.

AZ looks cool. But its a little new for me, and from my reading it looks like its pulls a ton of amps.

well Viairs pull alot of current too.. dont be fooled by the tags, Viairs rating are at 0PSI hookup an Ampmeter and find out, a pair of 480 Draws more then a pair matched Dc's

Im pulling 35 amps to start 20 amps once they are running

The pair of 480's drew 50 amps to start 35 amps running
