Hey everyone, does anyone know if their is a walkthrough on how to remove the calipers on the xB??? I tried searching but couldnt find one.... Thanks!

 

yellow arrows= caliper bolts
green arrows= caliper mounting bracket

 

what are you planning on doing?? If you are njust changing the pads then you should be able to just pull out the caliper bolt and slide the rails off. If you are changing the rotors then you will have to remove the whole thing.

Well im going to be painting them... Not with one of the kits either, i got some spray paint that im going to be using... So i wanted to remove them..

 

Just a quick question, are the pads in the Xb (i have an Xa) shaped odd? When I had my wheels off last I look at the pads to make sure I didnt need new ones and they looked like this. _/ \_ Is there supposed to be a raised section in the middle?

can you be more specific? were the ends kinda tapered off, cause i think thats normal.

 

the pads will have a slot in the center and taper at the ends
