Female or not we should still be nice. You have to remember that even we were once Scion Illiterate.

I have Air Suspension on mine. I am using Airlift brand struts and their bolt rear airbags see this corporate link http://www.easystreetair.com/ (resellers have better prices I recommend http://www.suicidedoors.com/. I used Aire Ride Technologies Level pro system for air management http://www.ridetech.com/productinfo/levelpro.asp
Air Lift offers a complete system as well, it is basically bolt in. Their kit http://www.easystreetair.com/index.a...ROD&ProdID=596
It uses large 1/2 inch lines and a tank that I would not want to try to bury in my car (my system is stealth). 1/2 inch lines make for very fast movement which has no appeal to me. When you go to the ground with an xB the clearances on mine (with modifications) are very tight so fast movement is not a good idea. I like my nice slow accurate 1/4 inch line system (easier to route the smaller lines as well). I wanted more precise control over my bags so I did not purchase this system from them I chose to control the struts and bags with the Level Pro system I linked above. The electromechanical sensors work well and return the car to the measured for wheel alignment "ride" height every time on all 4 corners within 1/8" (better than non adjustable springs which vary that much and more with load). A pressure based system like comes in Air Lift's setup does not allow easy truely accurate height settings (height is critical to proper front wheel alignment) as the pressures vary alot with temperature so if you set the same pressure the height will not be the same each time. (A measuring tape never lies by the way). Too bad the convienence of not measuring alot and having an accurate alignment all the time comes at such a high price:/ Dakota Digital http://www.dakotadigital.com/index.c...rod/prd131.htm has the same type control system as well a alot cheaper than Air Ride Tech for just the control unit and sensors...whether that is a good deal depends on what package deals you can find on control unit sensors, lines tanks valves etc.

I am very happy with my install all in all. The Air Ride stuff is excellent quality and works very well. Air Lifts struts are ok....I have a small issue with some noise in the struts but they are addressing that. The ideal ride height for a very smooth ride from the front struts seems to be a drop of about 2.5-3 inches which is too low for my bodykit lip ( I drop only 2" for my ride height) which sits a little more than 1" lower than the stock one. So at low speeds on rough roads it is a little bit firm in the front. Once you get past about 35 MPH it is excellent.

ur best bet for fittings would be ckcustoms.com i got all my fittings Dot ptc for FBSS for $109 shipped
for the airstruts i would call suicide doors they can get you the easystreet ones (which are proably the best bet nbless you can afford air runner) for about $480 shipped but you have to call them

i reccomend running 8 valves im going with 3/8 smc from suicide doors but i would no do Side to Side because there has been alot of complaints on it waping the body and the back doors not sealing properly but just fromn and back has no effects at all

rear brakects you should be fine with fbis but if you are going to try to get as low as possible without putting in a 4 link i would recomend the airlift brackets as far as rear bags go its more of a persoanle prefrence jsut make sure to get a double convulated sp?? bag and not a sleve bag

and compressors go with either a viar, zeneth or a thomason al have there pros and cons i love the tohmasons but the take fore ever to fill up a tank (which is fine unless your switch happy) and they will last forever

No pictures at the moment. Maybe one day I can get down to my buddies shop and use his lift to make some pics. 3 of the 4 sensors were pretty easy to make brackets for and mount. Basic right angle brackets were fabricated and mounted to the bottom of the subframes and used to mount the sensors on 3 corners (both front and the right rear. In the front I made the brackets to mount using the 2 10MM head bolts that mount the splash shields forward of the suspension, I cut a U notch in the shields to clear the sensors and mounted the fabricated sensor bracket and shield with the bolts (the sensors mount pointing inboard and about centered between the bolts). On the right rear a right angle bracket was made and mounted to the subframe aft of the suspension. The left rear was more of a problem due to lack of space from the fuel necks etc in this side. I found that this sensor would mount directly to the inboard side of the subframe forward of the suspension up in the corner just aft of a crossbrace in this area. Redrilling of the sensor arms to make them shorter (for more throw) was necessary on all 4 corners. Carefull tuning of the sensor throw is necessary for good system performance (more throw is better). The xB suspension does not provide alot of movement, so a bit of tinkering to maximize sensor arm movement (without any binding or reversal) is necessary before finally drilling new holes in the sensor arms (closer to the sensor for more throw) and finalizing the installation. Once done the rear sensors will reverse and jam if the car is run all the way up in the rear , but, all the way up in the rear is way higher than should ever be needed. On my car any pressure in the rear bags over about 85PSI might reverse and jam the sensors. If we run it up that high or jack the rear we make sure while bringing it back down to physically reach thru the wheels and push the sensor rods to a position where they will sit normally after we lower the car to the point where they almost want to reverse. I really must try to get some pics of all this and I guess I should make a how to article

Air Lifts current setup uses a double convoluted bag for the rear. They no longer use the sleeve type bags there. I have heard that the Airunner struts are better for the front, my guess is that they are better.
