I have been thinking about this for over a year now, but lack of funds is keeping me for sourcing parts.

I'll probably go with a 03+ Corolla S platform. 5x100 conv. w/ Rear disc swap too. shouldn't be too hard.

In my opinion, it's not worth it if you just want to rock Scion OEM rims. You might as well invest a bit more into some other wheels if you're going through all that work just to sport tC wheels.

The amount of stuff involved in doing this swap doesn't seem worth it to me. One, you don't *NEED* 5 lugs for the amount of weight and torque that the box has...Two, you'd have to chop the axles of a tC to get the parts because, far as I know, they don't make a 5 lug conversion kit.

Yes, the tC stock wheels would look really good on the xB. I completely agree. However, you can find some that look similar and it would be much cheaper and less time consuming (not to mention potentially dangerous) than swapping the axles out.

You should be able to easily put on a TC rim on an xB with 5-4 lug wheel adapters.

Yes it has been done, and yes there are conversions out there. If I am not mistaken you can get conversion kits from Japan. I just have no idea where to source them. The change is also permanent. A couple of images to drool over...
