Default Hood with scoop...where?

Hey, does anyone know where I can get a hood like is on this bB? My feeble attempts at searching on the net have brought up nothing and this is probably one of my favorite looking hoods. Heck, I'd even take the non functioning hood scoop that looked like that...though I'd honestly prefer a functional one...but anyway...Any and all help is appreciated!

Note: Ok I couldn't get the image to show by using the IMG tags so I'm just posting a link...sorry...

PS - Thanx to Inazuma for the use of the image. :D Oh and if this has been asked before than I'm sorry...I tried a search and didn't come up with anything so anywho...

Yeah I agree! It is a very sweet ride! I like that grille on there as well...not too much of a fan of the bumper and lip personally...like the side skirts! hmmm...like the rims too. Ok heck I just like the whole thing! sheesh...now if you'll excuse me I must grab a towel...my drool has gotten all over the keyboard.

Actually a stateside company, as well as being a sponsor to Scionlife has a preliminary design of a CF hood with a scoop that looks almost identical to that!

The company is called Red Genie and they make a number of aerodynamic parts for the Scion xB, and will soon have a CF hood out with that center scoop design integrated and from the first pictures they have released it looks killer!

Their website is located here

You can also PM Red Genie xB on the forums.

Hey Tim, where is my free kit...LOL...free promotion for you guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Eh......i dunno......that xB is a little to 'froo-froo' for me........but then I'm not much for body kits. However.......a nice stylish, yet subdued hood scoop like that would make a nice addition.

Red genie might not make a carbon hood with a scoop, but a fiberglass one. Personally I dont like the scoops.

Hey guys I just ordered a new xb and I am new at the whole forum deal. What is the difference between an xb and a Bb? Please don't think less of me for not knowing the difference.

*claps hands, jumps up and down, and squeels like a little girl* LOL Woohoo! Thanks dude! Now we just need to get someone to start importing'em. :D As a side note, I guess I should've searched a little harder...thanks again!

richdog - Well first off the driver side is on the left instead of the right side. Second, from what I have heard the bB only comes in automatic. And third, the bB comes in 1.3 and 1.5 (X-version) liter engines instead of only coming with the 1.5L. Other than those things and the actual badges on the vehicle itself they are supposedly exactly the same. hehe And don't worry about it, I don't think anyone will think less of you for asking.

Any bodykit you see for the japanese 1st gen bB is too short for us and the plate is in the bumper instead of hatch. These are the bodykits that everyone wants. That's the only difference you need to be concerned with.

ok...is there a specific place on the forum that I can suggest new parts that I would like to see sold here in the shop? Maybe I just missed it but I can't find one... sooooooooo....I'll just post it here and hope it gets read.

I would really like to see this hood with the scoop and any of the body kit that's been discussed here to be made available on this site if that is at all feasible. I would definitely buy from you guys if its made available. Thanks!

PS - Does anyone know if the scoop is functional or is it just for looks? I can't read japanese....
