Default Buying Tein-S spring, but shock question

Okay, this is a little cornfusing and I apologize. I can't be positive the exact part numbers so please bare with me.

I have already installed the 02' Echo Sensatrac shocks (part # 5987, I believe).

I am planning to put Tein-S springs (2 inch drop) on my box, but I'm seeing that there is a 'lowered' or shorter shock (5870 I believe) that should be used when lowered 2 inches or more.

The question: It is going to cause any sort of issue if I continue to use the stock ride height shocks or do I HAVE to use the shorter shocks?

This may effect which springs I purchase since the shocks I have are pretty new still.

Thanks in advance for your time/advice

Biggs

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention, but the Colts rule...

The shorter shocks are the ones recommended for coilovers or bagged xBs.

You will be fine with what you have planned. The S-techs and Monroe 5987's are an awesome setup. Please post up some pics of your finished product.
