Default TRD Questions

I have an xB and got the TRD shocks and springs when I first got the car. I was wondering, what is the life on these things? How many miles should they last?

The springs should last a very, very long time. There's no definite lifetime for shocks and struts, it all depends on how often they compress... it wouldn't be uncommon for them to last 60K, but it all depends.

How's the ride with the TRD springs and shocks? I'm thinking about getting the shocks to accompany my springs.

I've heard that the ride with the TRD springs is really rough. You can get smoother riding springs with almost the same drop.

well, it was really good until late. I think it has to do with the compression like burst was saying, i am nearing 50K. would you guys suggest i change out the shocks, springs should be ok right?

Yea, start with shocks... when was the last time you needed to replace springs on a car? I'd be willing to say they'd outlast the car.

Yeah, I have the whole package: TRD Struts, shocks and lowering springs. Overall, I'm very pleased with the setup. I definitely felt a tighter, more compliant suspension with the shocks & struts.
It can be a tad bumpy for some though.
