Wink fuse box

all i did was stick the wire into the fuse socket "closer to the driver" and plug in the fuse "make sure that the remote wire does not touch both sides that way the fuse can still blow in case there is any reason for the cigar lighter needs the fuse to blow.....

(its the small fuse box on the drivers side)

Just got a new 2014 tc. Bought a loc online, just curious if you could post a pic or explanation on how you got the wires for the loc to stay/connect to the back of the pin connector. Thnx

I did this and when I plugged my phone charger in, the remote wire heated up and burned into my car and almost caught it on fire... lol. Any one know where I can safely install the wire, or could you tell me why this happened?
