Angel Eyes / Halo Install (Umnitza)
#42
Great write up! I have ordered my halo's from JL and am waiting for them to ship... just a couple questions:
1) What kind of high temp glue should we use and where can we buy them?
2) What kind of sealent or plasti-dip should we use for the ballasts and where can we buy them?
3) Are the halo's visible at night when the lowbeams are running, or do the lowbeams drown the halo's?
4) How much whiter are the halo's then our stock lowbeams? Because getting aftermarket headlights will melt the wiring harness.
Thanks in advance for the feedback.

I just got done installing my angel eyes using an oven. Although I have a heat gun, its easier and faster to go with a oven than the heat gun. Also with now brittle those angel eyes are I wasnt taking any chances of them breaking on me.
if you have an oven, just use it and dont waste money on a heat gun

Hey I got this done last week, and when I turned it on, the driver's side big ring didnt come on. Any advice on what might be wrong other than a broken wring? I'd like to check other items before disassembly...

You can DIY, our products are all designed with the end user in mind. Check out this guide on how to bake open headlights, it's pretty easy:

I had these 2 years ago, Makes for a very aggressive look. After like 7 months the driver side lens started leaking, witch made the the glue holding the halo's turn yellow. Although it gives your car a great look, I had to do away with them because didn't want to keep repairing my headlights.
