Thanks for the great DIY. Finished in 5 min.

Best option in my opinion is: grey + green

Read the whole thread and want to ask a couple of questions, does this work with Xb2 and does anyone know how to bypass the the high beams as well?

My wires match your photo diagram, however I have no power when I remove the white (your gray) wire. The pink wire on the other end of the connection is the same pink wire that is in the engine bay that is connected to the fog wording harness.. Does it matter that I'm running hid's 3000k fogs? Or the fact that they are grill lights not jdm corners?

Guess I should update.. My fogs run great.. I have my gray wire tied to my parking light fuse and a switch installed (not oem) work great!

Too bad none of the pics work anymore. Also say i dont want them on, will the switch inside the car still turn them off with this wiring mod done?

^yes if you mod the wiring to turn on while the car is off or with the parking lights you can still turn them on and off with the switch

Cool. I plan on wiring it to turn on with the parking lights. Now if only the pics on the first page were still there so i could see exactly how he did it.

i'll try to take pics of mine tomorrow, i did the mod for the parking lights. but i remember getting a flat head and prying up on the clip that's in the middle of the plug and pushing out the grey wire with a pick, then you jam the grey wire's metal pin over the green wire in the same slot of the green wire and wrap it with a bunch of electrical tape. after press the clip down, it will take some force and your done.

Sounds simple enough. Its the plug inside the car behind the switch right?

yeah it's the plug that is behind the switch that has the relay to it as well

I deleted the whole pigtail.. The pinkish wire on the stock wired harness that you'd connect your aftermarked pigtail to, I took that wire out of the connector and connected it to mu parking fuse with a breaker switch.. If I leave the switch on at all times it will shut off when I turn car off and open door. Or I can flip the switch off.. All ya need is a breaker switch and about 9" of wire.. It gets rid of that bulky relay and the other 2' of wires and the switch that comes with the light kit..

Default Fog lights

I have an 05 tc and just went out to do this mode and I do not have a gray wire. I've looked and looked and there is no gray wire. Anyone else have this problem or have an 05 they did this mode to. I would like mine to come on with the parking lights.

Thanks, jjp
