question when placing the headlite in the oven......does this only soften the glue that connects the housing to the rest of the light????.....the heat wouldnt damage anything else????....all i want to do is get rid of that damn orange side marker....i hate it

 

Yes, the whole point of baking it is just to make the glue soft so that you can seperate the two parts of the light. It shouldn't harm the lights or part of it at all. Just don't leave it in too long.

i know this is hella old but whered you get your shrouds. i haven't been able to find some e46 bi xenon shrouds yet. also did you happen to take pictures of how you wired you your ballasts. and one final question, where did you get your d2s ballasts / bulbs.

 

They're all over ebay, search by "xenon shrouds". If they don't have them, somebody will sell them soon. They're widely available.

I have an 08 tc, would it be worth retrofiting tsx projectors. How are the projectors on the 08 TC. My cutoff is pretty clean on my 6000K setup. Im not entirely impressed with the actual light distribution on the road though. Here is a video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6gIRzqGkjdQ

just mod the squirrel spotters and your set

 

How do you mod the squirrel spotters? I heard someyhing about bending them down inside the projector housing.

 

great....that's alot of work!!!

 

If you have 08 projector, you can just swap out with just the TSX lens..
I've tried in on the 08 xB2 projector and fitment is pretty good..
There is a small play, but with little bit of fiddling, you can make a perfect fitment..

 

I would doubt it.
