The LEDs on the gauge cluster for the auto tranny seem to be smaller than the PLCC-2s...do they use the same size LEDs or would I have to buy smaller 1s to replace them?

 

They are all plcc-2 on tc gauge clusters.

Yes that is correct, all white leds and you use the translucent vinyl on my website to create the two tone effects you want

anyhoo...would you like to share the color changing needle trick with me? i tried every possible way imaginable with the vynal i purchased from you but i dont seem to get it.....or is it a special way to paint the needle on the inside of the housing....hmmmmmmm

 

Paint the needle white, then place the film in the areas under the needle were you want it to change. Kind of trial and error but it works out great and the color change is very vivid.

 

i tried that with no luck.It kinda worked but it came out very very faint...so i thought there was a special trick on how to paint the needle or where i should say...

 

hmmm you have to place the film just right and get the needles as close as possible to the gauge faces. Works like a charm for me, just have to mess with it more.

 

any word on those needles you were gonna start sellin? or not yet?
