Im a newbie when it comes to modding cars so I dont know much, but I would love to change the color of my dash lighting (the needle, the mph numbers, gas indicator, etc.) I know oznium has what I need but what do you actually do with them? Do I look at the diagram in the first and simply pull it out, and pop the new LEDs in?

From the sound of it, I think you would be better off sending them in to one of us swappers There is a lot of soldering and work involved.

How much is a kit for just the guage cluster? Not the Hvac.

I need the guages to be blue and will have the needles red so maybe a red led under the needles will bring out the color more. Then anything else you would like to throw in is fine with me lol.

I am doing these for a buddy and that was his request. "Blue guages, red needles, the rest is up to you" lol.

You just buy leds for the cluster, no kit really. For the DIY person you have to buy paint / detail brish to make it work for ya...

Oh I know I already have the needles painted red with a white undercoat. I was just reading one of the posts that enfineer posted a while back about how much better the needles look when you outline them with a red led lol.

Didnt you Sir, have a kit back in the day that you sold for like 30 bucks or something? lol. Ah maybe im thinking of something else. lol. Ok have a good day.

I think in order to keep the red LED for the needle from bleeding into the rest of the gauge cluster, you will have to isolate it so that it only illuminates the needle. If im not mistaken

I like how you recommend my method (instead of the colored stickers), yet you were talking trash on it in another post. Just wait until you test this method out, you'll realize the gauges will be a little dim, and the best way to fix this... relocate the LED's. Also, to get a brighter needle, bring the LED's closer. Hmmm... my method does make sense after all, but what do I know. I've only been modding scion gauges longer than most of the other modders on this forum...

Here we go again with his trash talking and dissing other swappers. This Guys a joke. Now i know why he's not recommended unless you want your gauges back in 3 months with them in semi working condition. haha. Use garage, squall, or engifineer. They do better work and have a FASTER turnaround time and acutally TEST your gauges before they ship it back to you. And also, they don't rape you on the price and claim some BS 40% deal .

Jim, jim jim. You really don't know what you're talking about do you? Whose gauge cluster did I keep for 3 months? 1 persons, and that was explained (I won't explain again, and again).

Also, how do the other modders do better work? I have a 1 day turnaround time, and I test all the parts before shipping (that is a new policy I have).

Also, whats this crap about my prices being so high? Show me you're not talking out of your juvenile a$$, and list in your next post everyone's regular prices (including mine). Then everyone will see how you, imagin, and eveyone else who I have never done business with is so full of sh**.

Here, I'll start for you.

ledmods.net prices:

blue gauges, blue needles, and blue indicator lights: $80
blue gauges, white needles, blue indicator lights: $120
custom LCD screen: add $20
color changing needles: add $20

blue HVAC: $100
custom LCD screen: add $30

blue factory radio: $100
custom LCD screen: $30

steering wheel & door controls: $45

3rd brake light conversion (without a hacked up housing): $120

Garage's prices:

Squall's prices

Engineers prices

go ahead, fill in the above prices, and show me and everyone else reading, you have no idea what you're talking about. I want to see who gets raped on the prices.

I've also been a forum sponsor for well over 1 year. which other modder has done that?

Well this ones for my boy Squall (Trung). You asked for it LEDMODS.NET. Heres the prices from another swapper who informed me of his awesome prices. So bite on this dumb@$$. Lets see if you update your prices now. O and yea, still looks like your raping people compared to Trungs prices Trung you're awesome, thanks for providing these prices to me so I can shove it down his throat

O and yea, LEDMODS.net is an idiot. He asks me whos cluster he kept for 3 months and then right after that he says, O YEA, I DID KEEP SOMEONES, but i wont explain it again. hes such and @$$. he answered his own question. And many others on this site have had issues with their gauges not working due to poor poor workmanship from you. Anyways.....

SQUALLS (TRUNG) PRICING
blue gauges, blue needles: $60
blue gauges, white needles: $70
(extra indicator lights, FREE)
custom LCD screen: FREE

blue HVAC: $70
custom LCD screen: FREE

blue factory radio: $80, but ALWAYS suggest to customer to save the money for aftermarket.
custom LCD screen: FREE

steering wheel & door controls: $20

tips appreciated and work always guaranteed. always prefer to have the customer watch, and i won't hide any of my work.. - Exactly squall, unlike someone does...COUGH (LEDMODS.NET)
