Lots of people running a UEGO or similiar guage, plus all the other setups and such...
I decided against running it, as the pods didn't line up well enough for me and don't want cops to see lit guages in my car... Good setup for cheap though.

if u get a a/f ratio, get a wide band by aem like WDS was saying. one of my gauges installed are oil pressure, and to install this properly, you need an oil block adaptor (i got mine from greddy i believe)
yeah i tried to hook my a/f through my ecu. But i was told i would have to tap from the exhaust manifold or the headers. Whats the worst that could happen if i am leaking in either of those area's?

ur header and exhaust manifold is the same thing. a header is an exhaust manifold.
some wideband a/f ratio sensors have their own sensors (i think aem's is like this) to where u would have to tap into the spipe (not the header) with a new bung. I would suggest u let a performance show / muffler shop / or someone who can weld a bung into the pipe.

what i am asking is if i drill a hole. and i some how do not do a good job welding.. what are my side effects going to be. Will the car still run ok? will it even start?

it depends on where u drill and where u are leaking. if you have a leak before your wide band o2 sensor, your going to have problems, and you will probably run lean because the sensor isnt detecting as much exhaust flow, so in return, you wouldnt feed as much fuel (because the ecu assumes that car isnt taking in much air either), there for running lean.

I may run them and wire them to a switch, so I can turn them on/off... to see them when I need to, and for shows... but keep it quiet inside most of the time... (I like quiet and sleeper)
ok so i have a issue....
how do i hook up these gauges
a diy would be very very apprciated
i have all autometer procomp gauges.
a/f ratio
volt
oil pressure
how do i wire these in????
where
what to tap
do i need to buy more stuff
do i need to goto a shop and spend some money? (hope not)
help!

I comprimised and am going to get my CC A-Pillar pod color matched, as the color is WAY off, and pop in in. I have the autometer CF Pyro/CF Boost and AEM UEGO Wideband for it... just going to run the lights of the guages to a switch so I can shut them off for staying sleeper and hassle free night driving.
Your Autometer A/F procomp guage is worthless (at it is narrowband and tells you NOTHING effective), return it and get something else in it's place, if you go Turbo or such, invest in an AEM UEGO or other "Wideband A/F" controller in it's place... as they tell you acurately what your A/F is at any point in time... but, are pricey
Volt is really easy and just follow the instructions and tap it into 12v supply wire of the deck or cig lighter, or if you really want to, on the ECU...
the oil pressure is a little tougher and clicking features/tech will have a how to from Kaeon on oil pressure tapping suggestions...
