Get the f out of here. Man I'll be so ____ed if after all this hype on this car. And it turns out looking like a 7th gen celica. Don't get me wrong. I owned one and loved it. But that was 5 years ago. It's just that the first version looked so cool. And I don't care what anyone says. That looks like a damn celica.

Tons of rumors are flying, but most are consistently mentioning the 3rd generation Subaru Boxer Engine (2.0L n/a, ~170 hp) will be the base. The FT-86, however, will be getting Toyota tweaked heads (confirmed information), so the power output will be different. If Yamaha is doing their treatment on it, we should be seeing a nice high rev racing engine, versus the typical torque-heavy Toyota engines. It'll be interesting to see if any new technology is used, besides Dual VVT-i.

We'll see what really happens though... I'm betting on a New York Auto Show unveiling of the Scion production model (Subaru will likely be released at a later date).
