Scion Represent Website Launches June 12th

SCION ANNOUNCES REPRESENT – AN ONLINE MOSAIC
Scion, of Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A., Inc., recently announced its new online promotion, Represent, which innovatively brings together the brand's owners.
“This new Scion promotion is like a virtual owners’ club,” said Adrian Si, Scion interactive marketing manager. “We wanted to demonstrate how passionate our owners are and support their personalization efforts. The purpose of this promotion is to assist in connecting owners across the country and allow them to showcase their vehicles at a national level.”
Scion owners will be able to register on Scionrepresent.com June 12th through August 10th and submit images of their vehicles to the site. The pictures will come together to shape three modern street scenes, a different one for each model. As more images are included users will be able to scroll down the street to see the additional pictures.
Enthusiasts will be able to peruse images with a virtual magnifying glass, contact each other for more information about their cars, and if they’re lucky they’ll find their own images in the scenes. Those who find their own picture online will be put into a drawing for the opportunity to win a Panasonic portable DVD player, Delphi MyFi XM radio with a paid one-year subscription, Canon ZR200 digital camcorder or Garmin iQue 3200 GPS organizer.
Although the contest portion of the promotion ends in August, the street mosaics will stay up through early fall.
Scion developed the concept with Cherrybomb Consulting, an interactive promotions agency. The web site was built by Amauta, Inc.

For their 50th Anniversery Disneyland had people send in photos. They made mosaics out of them and they can be seen now at the park. This sounds like the same thing--only virtual..... Kewl
