Bars Under Avatar

I don't know if this topic has been tackled yet (I did a search) or if I'm posting this in the correct place... I noticed that the bars underneath the avatar range from yellow to dark red.. does this stand for something? It's been bugging me!!

color is what year you joined.. and how much filled up is the activity
