Can you educate us all on how the feature works? Can we post to our profiles without it turning up in off-topic?

Hehe... you are FAST! I just it operational a few minutes ago.

OK, here is the deal, all you have to do to blog on your profile page is to post a NEW TOPIC (not a reply) in the off-topic area. There is no way to hide it in the off-topic area, which doesn't matter because the replies, etc, don't get displayed on your profile, just your first post.

Ideas for improvement? This mod was quick and dirty, but simple and easy to use.

 

I sort-of live here sometimes.... LoL.

The only improvement I could think of is being able to post it without it hitting a forum, or blogs having their own forum... as I'd like to blog, but it would seem out of place in the Off-Topic area...

For Instance, My different projects and where I am at with them, so people can follow along... Topics like N2O, Interior Mods, and CarPC's would look wierd in the off topic area, but would make cool blogs for people to follow along with.

Keep the improvements coming... I like the direction.

 

Well, I considered having a seperate forum that is just for blogging... but it would turn out to look just like off-topic, so why bother, ya know?
