if I send a message it goes to my Outbox until it is read by the reciever. at that point the message goes to my Sentbox.

what if I send a message then delete it while its in my Outbox? will the reciever still get it?

 

If you delete it before it is read by the intended recipient, it is deleted and they do not see it (they did, however, probably get an e-mail notice the message was there, but will not see the content).

This also means that is you are faster than the intended recipient you can edit your PM to remove errors or add information, so long as you are finished before they open it.
