I was wonding if there was a scionlife RSS feed, or if it would be possible to get one. I'd like to add a tab to my google homepage.

YES!! Darren, an official ScionLife RSS feed would be cool and I would add it to my blog page too. Pleeeeez?

Any of you reading and wondering what RSS is, in this case, ideally it would be a newsfeed, more like all the 'headlines' and 'recent posts' etc. from the ScionLife main page formatted in RSS which is a really simple text only format. The website admins would just have to set it up once, as in, point it to where the data is (the headlines, articles etc.) and it would update the RSS any time there were changes to that data.

This is really useful for people who want to watch their favorite websites for updates and new info but for whatever reason aren't able to visit the actual website.

Don't expect too much from RSS though. It's only for headlines (basically the main page and any specifically set-up sub-pages) and you wouldn't be able to do things like watch particular discussions/threads.

I would probably feed the RSS to my cell phone or e-mail it to myself periodically along with posting it up on my website for others to know my interests etc.

OK, this is officially on my to-do list. Got to take care of some other things first, though.

RSS is pretty sweet... buddy of mine just built an autoevents page and he has RSS on it. I got the feed with specific search results displayed on the front of my site.

Another site I visit often... one of the members built a Firefox toolbar that scrolled the RSS feed across the top of firefox. If you saw something of interest, you clicked on it (was the title of the post) and you were directed to it. VERY cool.

not sure if it's Pluck or Firefox, but I'm getting some overlapping (text over pictures)... so I will have to toy with it more.

Thanks for the feed.

I've never used RSS before, so not sure how it is really supposed to work. Suggestions welcomed.
