Just ridiculous Tomas. Thanks for the help though! Guess we'll see what happens.

This is dumb, I would rather deal with slow load times then have threads missing

At least if it won't load you can come back later and know all of your ____ is still there. This is insane.

I just want to clarify - there shouldn't be any lost threads.

As we unfortunately aren't phpBB experts, we discovered a really intensive query on our servers which essentially loads every thread when you open a forum.
We changed the default to load the last 2 weeks threads only (although it is selectable at the bottom of the page).

We changed this setting to attempt to rectify the issues people had been experiencing lately with regards to site speed.

If you feel you have "lost" a thread - scroll down in the forum and select "Beginning" instead of 2weeks

Best regards,
Adrian

Yea but you cant change it to see all threads, there are A LOT of threads missing for me. Threads that have defiantly been posted in recently.

You need to change the settings back

I can understand why you made the change... but it isn't even working properly. Take the tC Owner's Lounge for example... as mentioned ALL of the Stickied threads are gone (or at least no longer stickied) and trying to select All Posts to see them again just reverts back to 2 Weeks anyway. And if you select any other time frame (like 6 Months, for example) it appears to work at first, but as soon as you try to go to another page, it reverts back to 2 Weeks again and goes back to page 1.

We have done that and still cannot go past the first page. Pick any setting, clicke page 2, and bam still nowhere but where you were, at the 2 weeks setting and stuck at page 1. This was brought up by me on the previous page and confirmed by ack.

That has been covered by numerous folks in this thread and by me in direct email to IB.

It is either understood or should be. If not all that needs be done if for them to actually TRY to get to pages beyond the first page and believe their own eyes.

Damn! Got dragged back in here again.

Adrian, all yours.

They have allegedly rolled back the change to put things the way they were.

We will be back to being slow, again, but at least most everything might actually work.

IB expects to get back to "trying things" to speed up the site, tomorrow.

Be afraid. Be very afraid.
