My Palm Pre gets SL without problems, too, and I've even moderated from it...
Curious, why?
I need some good reason to pass on to the techs...

I believe Landscape mode on Iphone is adequate, as long as it remembers your password. IMO.
iPhone users have the opportunity to simply zoom in and out with two fingers. And easily navigate. If they start to make apps and stuff, there is still going to be things you love and hate about navigating scionlife.

CSOCSO, I'm meeting with a lot of reluctance on the part of the IB folks to change that from a .gif to a .jpg - in fact they are more willing to produce a WAP version of the site for dumbphones rather than change that one image.
I've told them to go ahead with the WAP mobile version, but also let them know that will NOT solve the problem of the limitation in the Opera version on some smart devices since they get the full HTML version of the site.
We'll see.

ok thats cool. i dont think im gonna use the wap version, since the html version is perfect for me. and its fast in opera mini. the only problem is that gif file. so if that would be fixed then im gonna be very happy.

I was just pawing through the source for the Scionlife.com landing page, and I believe I found some hosed HTML. I've referred the error to the IB folks, and if they fix that I believe the problem with Opera browsers goes away.
(BTW, What caused me to start digging in the source even though I can't fix it, is that I just downloaded Opera 10 for Mac and it does the same thing you are describing. That to me indicated some hosed code, so I started searching.)
