Scion Registry..........

What the ^%*( is up with this #$&^ and people rating your car that has over $10,000 invested in aftermarket parts a "1 star" ?

You %^&*(#@ people that have nothing better to do other than try and keep your ride on the top of the list by rating people 1's can go to $&%*(^& hell!

I believe the system was not meant to be used in this fashion. I mean how can you rate someone's ride a "1 star" in the "Go" score a 1 when they have spent more in their engine bay than you did on your set of rims, which is the only thing you have bought for your ride, and probably used at that, A$$&*%(!

I rate cars a 1 star yes.......... if they have done absoltuley NOTHING to their ride, which is why there is a rating system. I do NOT rate people a 1 if they have all the best stuff and make their ride look hot!

So for you #$%^*$# that are doing it, and I know atleast 1, grow up and respect what the site stands for and does for it's scion owners!

I'm done venting now......... oh that includes you guys that rate your car a 5/5 and it looks like the day it rolled off the assembly line!

Yes I understand it is for fun, no quarries, but I would like to see the people that spent time in their car up on the top of the list to view. Was looking at peoples rides when I saw my car wasn't even in the top 50, and someone had posted 1's in it. Don't you think that is lame? I look at the registry almost daily to see new peoples rides and what they have done with them. Just got me hot to see that crap going on again.

 

another way is to nominate someone to be ride of the month

 

If we all agreed on everything, then all our cars would look alike and would all get a 3 for average.

And I have a feeling this thread won't improve your scores...

 

Yea I went ahead and took my car off the site, bunch of a$$&*%(^! Rating me all 1's.

Goes to show you how many kids we have on this site! Won't be returning either!

 

yea thats the way it is. the voting was screwed up in the past somehow but thats the way it goes. after it was redone its been no better.

theres a reason i dont post all of my mods and allow it to be voted on. i dont care what some prepubscent (sp?) 14 year old kid who cant drive thinks about MY car

just live and learn. laugh it off. theres people like that.

Not the only thing in life that kids tend to mess up for you when you are trying to enjoy things.

Just can't wait until they are as old as us dealing with the same frustrations in life. Life is not getting any easier and I feel my kids will have it alot harder than I do!

you ever think people just do not like your ride?

i just think people shouldnt be able to vote for themselves nor should they get to consistently vote 1's. . but not much u can do. cuz if you remove the 1's people will use 2's . if you remove the ones people will want the 5's removed too.

 

Sounds like another person that spends too much time on the intArdnet.

If you can't accept people's opinion of what they feel your car looks like to them, then maybe you shouldn't post your pics...

It's just for fun... and there really is no way to prevent cheating. If you want to put your car in the registry for voting then feel free, if you don't want to then don't feel like you have to. Lighten up a little, guys.
