Site is slow!!
Hey guys when ever I click to write a reply or new topic the site delays quite a bit. It also hesitates before I can type the message. As a sponsor this is tme consuming and becomes a hassle. I would think that it is my PC but I use many different computers and have had this problem on all of them. Hopefully this can be fixed.

No delay here...............

Sometimes unusual delays happen for me in those situations, but more commonly it is just the 'normal,' expected delays.
Occasionally, the request to do something just seems to get 'lost' somewhere between servers, giving long delays. Often simply repeating the request gets a very quick response.
Nothing I can put my finger on other than it often seems to be when an SQL access is needed.

i've been getting some slowness to the site over the past couple of days too. recent posts taking a minute to load, and when it does, only half of the page loads and then it goes into code, and then just white blank space.

Hmmmmmm... just as I was saying I wasn't seeing huge delays, I get this.
Not typical, but I guess it happens. (And yes, the page did eventually show up.)

Hmmm... let me see what I can find. Tomas, isn't 419,000 seconds like five days? But your reply was less than an hour later. I don't get it.

nothing out of the ordinary... cept for at work sometimes the drop down buttons at the top dont load... or some will some wont (usally the 1 i want doesnt load) either refreshing or clearing out the stored files fixes the problem for a bit..

There is some lag depending on the time of day but its better then it was earlier in the year. The most lag I have seen is no longer then 20ish seconds ...but normally just a few seconds. I dont think there is an issue.

It's rare enough that it appears to be something related to some external demands that spike the load, from my viewpoint. It doesn't appear to be a systemic problem at the ScionLife server farm.
