Has gone from being 'bad' before, to just plain horrible now. Takes several minutes to load a page, IF you don't get a 'page cannot be displayed', 'server not found', or 'connection interupted' error message.
Couldn't get on at all yesterday afternoon, and today is shaping up to be a total loser too.

Yikes...Just took me 5 attempts and 10 minutes to open this page and our servers at work run dedicated T1 lines and my own home runs on a 1gig LAN. This is crazy, what gives? lol. I hope this post goes through. O well gotta stick through the pain.

Maybe it's server maintenance or something that is slowing it down. The best part is when I click on "My Posts" and It goes into debug mode...This is never a good thing unless you're a hacker, lol...This appears to be one of PHPbb's worst offenses is that it shows debug mode although I thought they patched this. I could be wrong.

No changes were made to Scionlife, and it has caused a point of concern with our tech team, they are going through our network structure with a proverbial fine tooth comb to find the problem.
If people are expressing their frustration towards you feel free to respond to them that they problem is out of your hands and that the IB tech team has been working around the clock to solve the issue, you have done all you can and as you mention its in our hands.

In addition we will be doing the following updates to the site:
Updating the database server (this will be done next week)
Hosting the static images on the site utilizing a very aggressive caching software we have written (this seems to have improved performance elsewhere quite dramatically, especially on pages that have big avatars and the forum index page with lots of static images), this should be done first thing next week
Optimizing the database by deleting all redundant entries in the database (amongst a few other things) – I request this to be done tomorrow @10am PDT and Scionlife will be down for approx 1hr as a result, if you would like to let the Scion Lifer’s know it would be muchly appreciated

I don't have an exact date as yet.
