thats what i though but it was more or less just a question on why people (tuner style) always hate on VIP peeps when it is mostly the VIP Peeps that give most of the advice when the tuners ask... most VIPers have been down the tuner route either with the xB or with a nother car so we have some good advice to give.

lol aight wayne... oh and i got all of my air ride stuff in except for my rear airbags that I ordered from FBImini. I got the bag mounts I ordered from them but not my bags. Their shipping department dropped the ball so they suck!! lol Oh well. I am debating installing everything else so I can drop the front..

Have you reported anything? Did you click the warn button on the post where you were called ___ or whatever it was? Have you ever clicked the warn button on anything you found offensive or unneccesary?

Chances are if you or anyone got warned for something... someone reported it. Not everything "warned" deserves an actual warning though. But we can't be expected to just SEE everything. Sometimes someone has to say something.

As for this specific instance... I have no idea what post you're talking about... but I do know that VIP topics usually just take bad turns b/c some people never accept a difference of opinion.

 

don't know who it was, but i recieved my second and apparently last warning from what the message said from sexyscionlover, and she changed her post after i posted my reply, thought ya'll could view stuff like that, (posts before edits), but oh well...guess i was wrong...

and I don't find the need to warn people...sorry, but thats kinda childish not to just stick up for yourself, but i've gotten this message numerous times as well:

we have paying sponsors for this site, and this is a family site (like dad's gonna be like "its 8 pm kids, you know waht that means???!!!"....."SCIONLIFE TIME!!!!" "YAY!!!")...so whatever, keep doing yall's thing...

but I could care less about wanring her for saying I'm ___, but when i stick up for myself about it, and MY posts are deleted and I get warned for instigating it??? pretty "f'ed" up...but like I said, keep doing ya'lls thing....

 

Well my point with the warnings is...

If someone informs us of something they don't like that you did... you get upset you got a warning and take things into your own hands... which probably gets you another warning instead of the other person.

Sometimes you have to use the system that's there. As childish as that might be...

my original topic simply asked why VIP is always Hated on when VIPers normally provide the most help on this board. I also asked why people always say that VIP is the most traveled road when in fact the amount of successful VIP is dwarfed by tuners and other styles. If a mod found that offensive then they need to grow up and pull the sand out of their kitty kat.

As for the VIP stuff, like I said, I never saw the original thread, but if it was removed by a mod, it wasn't because they were offended. I would believe that it's because they knew it would, and didn't want to let it get out of hand. But one of the issues lately is that if someone deletes a thread or moves it, some of the mods haven't been notifying the original poster - so then we get threads like this wondering where things went.

I don't know for sure though. I'll see what I can get out of the other mods and get back to you.

 

Some mods are getting too trigger happy with locking post, even though they are just normal conversations. A lot of VS post are annoying to many, but I dont see why they get locked if someone wants to compare cars.

I personally pay VS post no mind.

lol i dont sweat it and I wasn't being literal but if that is how some of the post get locked or warning are issued then mods need to be chosen alot more carefully. I have modded other forums and this one is ridiculous sometimes
