Why are my messages stuck in Outbox?

Why are my messages stuck in Outbox?

I tried sending some messages, but they do not show up in my "sentbox"

They're still in the outbox, even though I got the confirmation of it being sent right after clicking submit...

Is this normal?

Jake I had the same question a few months ago. The message will not leave the outbox until the person you send it to opens it and then it is received(and goes to your sent box). If that makes sense.
