it looks great but you can do it with just your fingers and a razor blade the key is to take your time when you do it

don't forget the tape on the inside of the doors. Its located behind the closed door on the B Pillar. IT shows when the door is open.

[quote="hotlava1886"]heres my lava w/it removed.

Now that looks damned fine. So I ask, what are folks talking about when they say that if you remove all the tape then it will look chopped off at the back??? Yours looks great.

In my opinion removing the tape ruins the bodyline of the car.... Toyota put that tape there for a purpse, to make the car flow, and getting rid of it, causes chaos... Just looks unorganized when you take it off...

Beauty is in the eyes......you know how that saying goes. I took mine off and love it. I think it was chicken s*&t of them to tape it in the first place. They should have painted it if it was that big of a deal. You know eventually down the years the tape will cause problems, then it will be all dry and baked on and you could never get it off.

I like the look, that's why I did my car. You don't like the look, then leave yours taped.

You remove the tape anyway for Custom painting, just do it now if you have the plans to paint.

it does look cool, but im going for a black and green look, and dont really think its worth it. I like how it looks now, but others that have their tape removed do look great.
