New to the garage is my 1974 BMW 2002 that I picked up recently. It is a carb model but does have the Weber 32/36 instead of the standard Solex, custom fabricated exhaust with short tube headers and has a new interior and also fiberglass fender arches and front lip to give a better stance/look. I do have all the chrome pieces for the car but they are currently not installed. Wheels are from an 80's E30 and are the bottle caps. Otherwise the car is numbers matching with its chassis, M10 engine and 4-speed manual. My plan is to eventually convert this car into a dedicated track car and strip it. The car would be fully restored in a track car sense with no panel or bolt left untouched. I am considering either turboing the M10 to resemble the Group 5 racers of the period or swapping in a Honda F20C for some different fun. THere is also the thought of putting an S65 in it!
