This is how the key looks like after 17 years. Yes, there are cosmetic damages, but is functional.

The panic button is still working. This button I use often. When the parking lot is busy (School, Shopping Mall, DMV) by pressing on red button, will make some noise. I just follow that noise and find the car.

Here is how is looking inside. My car mechanic 10 years ago fix it for me. Inside it is one chip and one battery. Yes this is the old technology. In the future will be no use of a key!

The bolt fit better in the cylinder thread. Also the bolt have a washer. When I remove the old defective cylinder the bolt was too fat and was missing the washer. Never trust your car mechanic!

On the left side is the old self adjuster from the rear drum brake. After long hours of cleaning then lubrication, it is hard to turn in any direction (left-right or right-left). Must be replace with the OEM part. Just for safety!!!

I do not like this system because I am driving some times in heavy rain, and like one foot of water. The Factory intake in my Scion xB 2004 have like a place like U shape to hold small quantity of water.

On this picture at the top is the strut. Please let me know, if that strut can be replaced by a strut longer with one inch than OEM? Thank you.

This brand name is made in USA. was cheaper than the Toyota dealer store. 1/2 of the price 2 years ago. They are installed for about 2 years now and still look like new. Also, performed like OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer). How one can know if the Made in US is better than Made in Japan?

The round part in the left side of the picture is a flywheel. That part is designed to have the shape is such way to accommodate the one piston movement. Will give a better performance, by keeping the piston moving all the time (between the piston working needs).

Those failure lights show up yesterday. I not see an engine performance failure yet. OBDII code say P0012 and P0136. That O2 sensor have an 1.5" inch extension. What happened here? Please let me know if I need a new car? If yes, what car is like Scion xb 2004?Or is just my nostalgia feeling? Thank you

This is the new cap radiator with thermometer. I never go out there to check the temperature! My interior heater gives hot air out (140 Fahrenheit) in the cabin.

Here is the hole after removing the VVT. I try to remove the interior round mesh to clean. I can not find it. Must be deep more than 3/4 inches? Or is gone?

On the left side is the new part. The old PCV valve is stuck open. That may be the reason of the engine of consuming copious amounts of oil.

VVT was replaced. I use Anti-size. for the alternator bolts. For some reasons in the Summer time the Alternator will produce only 13.7 Volts. In the winter the Alternator produces 14.1 Volts.

This 2 electric plugs I disconnect them (clean with air pressure inside then add electric lubricator). Then connect back, and check to have all the wires in good cosmetic conditions in their place.

This thermometer shows 45 Degrees Celsius that is 113 Fahrenheit. I suspect that this must be the Specific for Scion xB 2004 normal temperature value. In this conditions with the silicone hoses. It is true that silicone hoses keep better in control the hot coolant pressure of the old cars?

When I start the cat my voltmeter show 11.0 Volts. That is too low value not acceptable. This is a DEKA battery - sealed. Please let me know how to open this Battery and add Distilled Water? Thank you.

There at the right corner is this PCV valve part. Do not be scared, or intimidated. Then that part need replacement again in 2-5 years.
