Tell the world a little bit about your vehicle
me an my dad was cruising in the sticks of texas on our motorcycles and we stumbled across a car on someone's front lawn. it was jacked up with hay stalks coming out of the cylinder heads as it looked like a rust bucket. we bought a 1969 Mustang Fastback BOSS 429 for $500. original owner had a head gasket blown and never got around to fixing it so it sat there for ages.

my dad and i restored it in 4 years. everything is pretty much stock in the interior and exterior only differences is we fabricated force induction systems added an additional [2] Holly 4 bangers and retrofitted the body & frame for the engines torque.

Engine/Drivetrain Modifications:
we MOD'ed the engine to a racing engine more then street. in the 80's we didn't have tight SMOG restrictions in TX as we do here in CA. there are way to many MOD's to say on the engine department.

brief overview: V8, 7.0Ltr, [2] Holly 4 barrels, high output alternator, turbo 400, retrofitted to 5 speed manual, posie rear, hooker headers and dual 3 1/4in cherry bomb exhaust.

Suspension Modifications:
Bilstien McPherson struts front. retrofitted top torsion mounts. rear leaf springs. FRT & RR sway bars. FRT modified top & bottom A arms. FRT & RR 4 piston calipers with cross drilled rotors. stainless steel brake piping with breaded sleeves. fabricated force feed air to rotors.

Wheels/Tires Modifications:
RIMS: CRAGAR S/S Alumium polished with custom powder coated gun grey spokes and outer rim polished.
Front: Pirelli P700 on 16's.
Back: Pirelli PZero on 15's.

Interior/Exterior Modifications:
Interior: multi color; tan, piano brown and black. converted to rolling windows to reduce weight. dashboard black replaced wood paneling to piano brown. all gauges are VDO. Hurst shifter. stock radio with upgrade to ipod connection. speaker covers are painted to match interior.

Amp: Soundstream [recent upgrade]
Speakers: JL Audio [recent upgrade]
Sub: NA
Wiring: Streetwires
Output: 280 watts
[we were thing more of weight so we didn't add a sub.]

Exterior:
color: Candy Apple Red
- all exterior induction units were modified for actual usage and that the air were force fed to certain location of car.
- tucked under rear end of car has drop down locking wheelie bars.
- inside hood scoop can see a slight view of air filters.
- 1 pair of PIAA 1400 series [Ion Crystal Fog]
Horn: Ferrari air horns
Stance: suicidal

Future Modifications:
[maybe] reducing from 4:1 down to 3:75 rear. tires barely hook at 4:1 with 2 holly's. Read more ยป
