Brian Crower says he has them in the works and we are looking at mid summer... That was from a call about a month ago.

Sry I'm noob but what exactly do cams do? There are the piece in the cylinder right? You get lower compression ones? What kind of gains could come from this and are there other mods that need to be done for these? Say port and polish or something?

well on our cars we have 2 cams one intake cam and one exhaust well thats all DOHC. the cam has lobes and it opens the valves. getting a performance cam has a wee bit larger lobe which opens the valve more letting more in etc, etc.thats a quick briefin for ya...hope it helps..theirs more to it but thats it, havin a better intake mani with a better runner set up gets more air in and match it with cams you can have a decent increase in power...it is a 4cyl so its not gonna be like a cam in a camaro or a cobra but it will be somewhat of power mybe 11-15whp possible a hair more. more worth it if you install it all yourself not pay another 500bucks to get someone to do it

There was a company who actualy made a aluminum im and posted pics but I guess they never made anymore. It was a shame the im would probably give some real good gains the stock ones is like a maze with all the bends.
