I just got a call from my dealership. My black xB is on a giant trailer truck headed to the dealership now. It should be here either tomorrow or Friday and will be ready for me to pick it up the day after it arrives at the dealership.

I'm just a couple of days away but it feels like I have to wait a month before I can drive it home.

I feel your pain. When I signed the paperwork for my xB at the dealership last Saturday the salesman told me I "should" have it by the end of the week ... but that it "might" take two weeks.

I was actually told that it probably wouldn't happen until today. But GST (Gulf States Toyota) is literally 10 miles from the dealership. Needless to say, came in Friday @ lunch and I picked it up that night. I am very pleased.

 

Ha, I just found out noone in NY has an XB

 

thats not true. as of friday, my dealer had 2 of them sold already. a silver auto and a blue 5spd. and in the next few days i should have mine.

 

You ruined the suprise! Dang you! But no one try to go down there unless you have business to deal with there. Or else security will bug you. But yeah most of all of your xBs are here in the states but only a certain number of them can be shipped out everyday! So don't worry, they'll be in your hands soon!!

 

Mine arrived at the port last Thurday. It arrived yesterday at the dealer (San Jose, CA)

You are right! I wrote that when I had gotten off the phone with a local dealer. He had told me noone in ny has them. Then I called up another one a friend suggested just 20 minutes ago and I came to find out they had some.

 

the only car i can make out is a yellow FJ Cruiser.

 

I understand the wait. I ordered mine as soon as they were revealed and had to wait 6 months.

Tomorrow is the delivery of mine. Can't wait.
