has anyone had the problem that on a hot day none of the buttons will work on your radio.

i dont keep me car in the sun but it has been a hot couple of days and when i get in my car at the end of the day i am not able to do anything. my radio will switch on its own from radio to aux to ipod and then none of my buttons will work on it.


can some one tell me what is goin on. is it just the heat

i remember reading about this along long time ago, but extreme temps do affect the radio..

 

I had a similar problem. On a super hot day my volume **** would not work all of the other buttons would work fine So I just took it to the dealership luckily I was still under warranty. I told the guys at the dealership what was up they gave me this tilted head cross eyed look like I was nuts. After telling my story 3 times to 3 different peoples they finally said they would just order me a new one. So if your under warranty just don't back down they will finally order you one.

At my dealer, we get a few car in with this problem.... It is a defect in the radio.
