View Full Version : Need help pickin out amp for subs

Hi i just purchased these subs off craigslist. I need to pick and amp for these guys. I would like some help please.
Heres the subs i have.

they are in a sealed box(wedge type) with a divider in the middle.

If you could give me some suggestions i would appreciate it alot guys and gals.

get a 500x1 or higher Mono amp, most companies dont make 500 models, but most make 600 models. heres a good one that will work wih thoes subs

A Nine.2x from Elemental Designs would fit the bill.

type-r's are way underated. you can easily put 750-1000 watts on each and have no problems if your gains are set right. so put anywhere from 500-1000 watts on each one if you want. the nine.2x should be fine or the Sundown SAZ-1500D if you have the money.

If you are thinking about putting more power on them you could also check out the Nine.1 from eD.
